Requirements & Application

Our Master's programme is open to graduates with a degree in economics who want to advance their career in International Marketing & Sales. Admission is restricted and requires participation in a selection process (AdH).
Academic Requirements

Bachelor degree in Business administration or Economics with ECTS grade B or a minimum mark of 2,3 (in ECTS system). Marks from foreign education systems should be converted using the ANABIN transformation guidelines. ANABIN database is relevant as well for the recognition of foreign education certificates.

Language Requirements

Certified English B2-level skills in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment (abbreviated as CEFR or CEF) must be proven. Proof of English language skills include:
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT) with a score of at least 72 points
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL, PBT) with a score of at least 543 points
International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic) with a score of 5.5
Cambridge English First

Alternatively English language skills can be proven with a degree certificate:
Business English (B2-level) English-language modules
(confirmation from the university)
Primary language of instruction English
Semester abroad in an English-speaking country or primary language of instruction English

Requirements for non-native German speakers?

Certified German skills (A1-level) must be proven. A certificate must be provided by the end of the 3rd semester at the latest.
Possible certificates include:
DSH - The certificate of the German language examination for university admission for foreign applicants (DSH-1).
telc - German A1
TESTDAF Test - German as a foreign language for foreign university applicants (TestDaF)
GOETHE-ZERTIFIKAT - Passed Goethe-Zertifikat A1

It is also possible to take part in a German placement test at FH Münster. Please make sure to contact us in advance for that.

Which documents do I need to upload to apply?

You will need to upload the following documents:
Passport photo in JPEG format
CV including any internships, professional experience, and personal or social commitments (please refrain from uploading proof of internships/professional experience)
Letter of motivation in English, maximum two A4 pages (quality over quantity!)
Bachelor's certificate or, if not yet available, a current transcript of records showing your average grade

How can I convert my grade?
Do I have to submit physical copies of my application documents??

No, all documents must be submitted digitally only. Documents by post are not required.
